Dialogue Festival/ Long Table Discussion

Inspired by the Long Table events devised by artist and lecturer Lois Weaver, Dialogue attempted to create an alternative to the panel discussion, inviting interesting people to open up conversations about participation in theatre and politics, to which anyone in the room could contribute simply by taking a seat at the table. Once at the table, participants could also contribute to the documentation of the event by writing on the paper cloths that cover the tables. Weaver created an etiquette for these events, which can be found on her Public Systems Address website, but which we chose not to follow in its entirety.

This documentation is divided into three sections: live recordings of the two discussions; edited highlights from the tablecloths, and learning/feedback.
